I haven’t been able to come up with ideas for a blog post recently, so I suppose this is more of an update that the site just got a little more fun! I do intend to keep decorating the site and trying to upgrade it, so you will just have to stay tuned for that.
It is intended to feel archaic in a way. With elements of a Nubby’s Number Factory charm. A game in which the aesthetics are a big reason I enjoy the game so much. I have further building to get to a point where I feel satisfied, but I will have to keep tinkering to get there.
This whole process has really shown me how much I enjoy website decoration and why I almost went into graphic design in college. There is something particularly satisfying about the process of making a site your own. It is a similar feeling I get when I used to edit YouTube videos, Something about the drag and drop nature of building it just scratches the right part of my brain.
Sadly I am limited to what WordPress offers, given I do not know coding language or customization beyond the basics. I don’t know if I even want to open that can of worms. Knowing coding would open the world of customization even further,but it is just a lot.
I am hoping to post more soon, I have been a bit absent since I don’t feel I have had much of value to share here. I may return to the self love cards or select a new prompt based activity to inspire my posts going forward till I can get back on my feet.
